Conference Description
The Cannabinoid Function in the CNS GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
The 2025 Cannabinoid Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) is committed to being an exceptional and inclusive conference, dedicated to exploring novel scientific questions in the cannabinoid field, Featuring keynote speaker Dr. Staci Gruber. Our focus on cutting-edge research spans both endogenous and plant cannabinoids, fostering an environment where graduate students and post-doctoral associates are empowered to assertively showcase their work. Emphasizing mentorship, our conference offers a platform for emerging talents to connect, learn, and establish meaningful collaborations. In our pursuit of inclusivity and diversity, the 2025 Cannabinoid GRS works to create an environment that celebrates and respects individuals from all backgrounds. We understand the importance of addressing barriers and challenges to inclusivity and are dedicated to implementing concrete actions to overcome them. From diverse speaker panels to accessibility accommodations, we strive to ensure that every participant feels valued and included. This event will bring together cannabinoid researchers at both pre-clinical and clinical levels. Application Instructions
The seminar will feature approximately 10 talks and 2 poster sessions. All attendees are expected to actively participate in the GRS, either by giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster. Therefore, all applications must include an abstract.
The seminar chair will select speakers from abstracts submitted by May 11, 2025. Those applicants who are not chosen for talks and those who apply after the deadline to be considered for an oral presentation will be expected to present a poster. In order to participate, you must submit an application by the date indicated in the Application Information section above.
