Conference Description

In 2006, this Gordon Research Seminar was launched to run for 2 days immediately preceding the Gordon Conference on Protein Folding Dynamics. The aim of this workshop is to serve as a venue for graduate students and postdoctoral scientists to i) develop background on current techniques, theories and models of protein folding in preparation for the GRC in Protein Folding Dynamics, ii) share their knowledge of protein folding methodologies and techniques and iii) meet each other and discuss their own research. The involvement and inclusion of young and developing scientists represents a key objective in our vision to provide this vibrant multi-disciplinary research area with scientists who are broadly based in both experimental protein folding methodologies and the models and theories that provide a basis for the interpretation of experiment in this field.

What is a GRS? Gordon Research Seminars (GRS) are 2-day meetings that bring graduate students and post-docs together to discuss their cutting edge research among peers and mentors. Each GRS immediately precedes an associated Gordon Research Conference (GRC), and topics addressed at the GRS relate closely to the GRC.

Related Conference

This Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) series is related to the "Protein Folding Dynamics" Gordon Research Conference (GRC) series. Although a related GRS will typically be scheduled in conjunction with its parent GRC each time it meets, that may not always be the case. For more information about the associated Gordon Research Conference (GRC) series, click here.

What is a GRC? Gordon Research Conferences (GRC) are 5-day meetings that bring scientists together from around the world to present and discuss unpublished research with other leaders in their field.
