The Board of Trustees of the Gordon Research Conferences established the Alexander M. Cruickshank Lectures to honor the many years of service to the organization by former director, Dr. A.M. Cruickshank. Lecturers are nominated by Conference Chairs and candidates are selected based on their current research and the subject of their proposed lecture. Three to four recipients are chosen annually and have their conference fee and travel expenses supported by GRC. More information about these awards is available here.
