David F. Bruhn & Daniel Hoagland

Meeting Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on New Antibacterial Discovery and Development is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The discovery and development of new antibiotics to overcome the challenges presented by the rising incidence of drug-resistant bacteria requires the training of outstanding future leaders and the support of a rigorous scientific community. This meeting will enable students and early-career scientists to expand their knowledge and professional network in the field of antibiotic drug discovery and development through a series of research presentations by trainees and a mentorship component led by global experts in the field.
