About the Site

Proctor is located in Andover, New Hampshire in the heart of New Hampshire's Lakes Region, just 93 miles north of Boston and 16 miles north of Concord, NH. The campus includes 2000 acres of woodlands, open fields, trails, streams, a river and ponds.

Arrival and Check-In

It is anticipated that attendees will arrive/check-in on Sunday between 2:00 pm & 6:00 pm. If you arrive after the GRC office closes at 9:00 pm, a list of room assignments will be posted outside of the Meeting House and the Holland Building.

The Meeting Room and Poster Area

Science Sessions are held in the air-conditioned Wilkins Meeting House theater.

Poster sessions and socials are held in the newly renovated Dining Commons.

On-Site Housing and Facilities

GRC participants are housed in dorm rooms with twin beds and shared bathrooms down the hall. The rooms are not air-conditioned but fans are available for rent in the GRC office. Linens, towels, soap and a drinking cup are provided in each room.

Dining Area and Meals

All meals will be served in the newly renovated Dining Commons.

Vegetarian entrees and gluten friendly meals are available at all meals. Other dietary restrictions or concerns can be accommodated if advanced notice is provided.

Kosher meals available upon request; please contact your GRC Conference Operations Associate for more information.

Internet, Phone and Computer Access

Wireless Internet access is located throughout the campus and there are Ethernet Jacks in all the dorm rooms. Please bring your own Ethernet cable. There is also a computer lounge next to the GRC office with 8 iMacs for conferee use.

Handicapped Accessibility

The site is fully handicapped accessible.

On-Site Recreation

Opportunities for tennis, hiking, swimming, fishing and biking are available right on campus.

Other Information

Animals are not permitted on site.

All GRC facilities are smoke free.
