Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Batteries is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The 2013 seminar will cover a wide range of topics with an emphasis on theory, modeling and characterization of materials for advanced batteries. Any battery chemistry is eligible, including lithium-ion, lithium-air, lithium-sulfur, magnesium- and sodium-based chemistries, and aqueous and nonaqueous redox flow batteries.

This GRS will be held in conjunction with the "Batteries" Gordon Research Conference (GRC). Those interested in attending both meetings must submit an application for the GRC in addition to an application for the GRS. Refer to the associated GRC program page for more information.
