Advances in Calcium Signaling: Exploring Channels, Disease Mechanisms, Signaling Pathways, and Novel Methods

This meeting will focus on the role of Ca²⁺ ion channel signaling in health and disease, from structural studies to translation. Discussion topics will focus on the structure, function, and regulation of Ca²⁺ permeant channels, the elucidation of novel signaling pathways, and the impact of Ca²⁺ signaling on biological processes in health and disease states. Attendees will present their research in poster and short talk format in a distinctive, dynamic environment. Discussion moderation by a combination of experienced mentors and trainee discussion leaders will facilitate lively discourse between attendees, promoting both innovative science and personal development of the young scientists present. Attendees are strongly encouraged to attend the Ca²⁺ Signaling Gordon Research Conference (GRC) which takes place immediately following the GRS in order to expand their scientific horizons further.
