Conference Description
The Chemistry and Biology of Peptides GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
The Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Chemistry and Biology of Peptides is a prestigious, international conference that has proudly facilitated the discussion of recent advances in peptide science for over 10 years. The associated Gordon Research Seminar is a two-day seminar held the weekend preceding the GRC. The seminar is specifically geared towards graduate students, post-doctoral scholars, and early career investigators as an opportunity to create connections and foster a community of peers ahead of the main conference. The seminar includes both oral and poster presentations with ample time for discussion of presented material. Additionally, the weekend will include a career panel with professional scientists from a range of institutions and career stages. Meals are served in a communal dining space and time is set aside in the schedule for social activities to promote peer interaction. Graduate students, post-doctoral scholars, and early career investigators interested in attending the associated GRC are highly encouraged to apply for the GRS as well.
