Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Clusters and Nanostructures is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The focus of this meeting is the forefront of the basic research on clusters and nanostructures, giving a special emphasis on the emergence of new properties, leading to unforeseen applications of nanostructured materials. The GRS will feature a keynote session on innovative applications of nanomaterials and a mentorship component about new perspectives, also in context of ethical and environmental responsibilities in science.

This GRS will be held in conjunction with the "Clusters and Nanostructures" Gordon Research Conference (GRC). Those interested in attending both meetings must submit an application for the GRC in addition to an application for the GRS. Refer to the associated GRC program page for more information.
