Conference Description
The Gordon Research Seminar on Electron Donor-Acceptor Interactions is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
The
focus of this meeting is to discuss the role of electron and energy transfer in
topics ranging from biological systems to nanostructured materials for energy
harvesting and storage applications. Topics to be addressed will fall into, but
not limited to, the following subdivisions: 1) solar energy conversion and
storage, 2) electron transfer in biological and biomimetic systems, 3) magnetic
and spin effects on charge transfer, 4) electron and energy transfer in metal
redox systems, 5) single molecule charge transfer, 6) electron and energy
transfer in nanoscale systems.
