Cellular and Molecular Signalling of FGFs: From Bench to Bedside

The Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) on Fibroblast Growth Factors in Development and Disease aims to familiarize the participants with intricacies and key outstanding questions in the field of FGF signalling. It also provides a unique opportunity for graduate students, post-docs and early career scientists with comparable levels of experience to present unpublished data, exchange ideas and network.

The seminar will track the transition from scientific breakthroughs to the development of potential therapies for the treatment of debilitating diseases emanating from deregulated FGF signalling. This will encompass a number of diverse fields from cellular, molecular and developmental biology to biochemistry and pathology. An integral aspect for the development of young scientists is the prospect of career progression. To address this, expert and senior speakers from these fields will also provide mentorship to participants and discuss career progression opportunities within and outside academia.
