Conference Description
The In Vivo Ultrasound Imaging GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
We invite all trainees, graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and early career researchers to attend the inaugural 2024 GRS on In Vivo Ultrasound Imaging. Attendees will present and discuss emerging techniques and recent advances in functional ultrasound research, including blood flow imaging, super resolution, elastography, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, and applications in therapeutic monitoring and neuroimaging. Key developments in clinical ultrasound and small animal research will be highlighted. In addition to talks, this GRS will also include stimulating poster sessions and a mentorship panel featuring ultrasound researchers who have recently embarked on their own unique career paths across academia and industry.
The field of functional ultrasound imaging has grown tremendously over the past decade. Techniques such as ultrafast blood flow imaging, super resolution imaging, and many more are making their way from the bench to the bedside. Join us for this inaugural GRS to explore both cutting-edge technical innovations and exciting new applications, both preclinical and clinical, that are coming to fruition in the field of functional ultrasound imaging.
