Conference Description
The Lysosomal Diseases GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
The Gordon Research Seminar on Lysosomal Diseases is an exceptional forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, share gained expertise, discuss pre-published data, and build international collaborative relationships with their peers.
This Seminar focuses on a broad spectrum of lysosomal research, from relevant discoveries in molecular and cellular mechanisms and pathogenesis to their translation into new treatment strategies. The latest advancement in the field will be explored, focusing on introducing early career scientists to Lysosomal Diseases in a manner that engages interdisciplinary research.
Attendees will have the chance to present their data on the fundamental biology of the lysosome, tools to understand lysosome function, pathophysiology of diseases, innovative screening methods, and therapeutic strategies. The poster and oral sessions will open the door to discussing and integrating cutting-edge ideas. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to engage in an international collaborative atmosphere.
