The New Antibacterial Discovery and Development (NADD) GRC has a proven track record of fostering collaborations and driving innovation to address critical clinical needs in antibiotic discovery and development. This unique conference brings together academic researchers, industry leaders, biotech innovators, policymakers, healthcare professionals, and frontline clinicians to drive innovation and support career development. Building upon previous meetings that have defined the challenges of antibiotic resistance and the hurdles in discovery and development over the past two decades, this year's conference will emphasize the global scale of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), highlighting unmet clinical needs and solutions. Key sessions will showcase new and promising drugs currently in the clinical pipeline, highlight advancements at the preclinical stage, and introduce innovative approaches and technologies transforming antibacterial discovery and development. These discussions aim to stimulate topical debates and encourage the exchange of cutting-edge ideas among participants. By convening experts from various sectors, the NADD GRC continues to serve as a catalyst for progress in the fight against AMR, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and the advancement of effective antibacterial therapies. Emphasis will be placed on creating networking opportunities for early-career researchers and trainees, enabling them to build connections, gain valuable insights, and advance their professional growth in the field of NADD.
