Conference Description
The Organic Reactions and Processes GRC is a premier, international scientific conference focused on advancing the frontiers of science through the presentation of cutting-edge and unpublished research, prioritizing time for discussion after each talk and fostering informal interactions among scientists of all career stages. The conference program includes a diverse range of speakers and discussion leaders from institutions and organizations worldwide, concentrating on the latest developments in the field. The conference is five days long and held in a remote location to increase the sense of camaraderie and create scientific communities, with lasting collaborations and friendships. In addition to premier talks, the conference has designated time for poster sessions from individuals of all career stages, and afternoon free time and communal meals allow for informal networking opportunities with leaders in the field.
Our goal in 2025 is to highlight a diversity of science from a diversity of people, including many first-time invited speakers. This 70th meeting occurrence will feature a program that includes novel organic methodology, biocatalysis, organometallic catalysis, pharmaceutical process chemistry, total synthesis of natural products, asymmetric catalysis, electrosynthesis, and mechanistic investigations. Presentations will emphasize unpublished work and include open discussion to facilitate deeper understanding and generation of new ideas. All attendees, in particular students and early career researchers, are encouraged to submit a poster abstract. A few poster presenters will be selected to give oral short talks on the final day. The deadline for poster abstract submission is four weeks before the conference begins.
Application review will begin January 1, 2025. Applications for this meeting must be submitted by June 23, 2025. Please apply before this date, as this meeting regularly becomes oversubscribed. If the meeting is oversubscribed, it will be stated here. Note: Applications for oversubscribed meetings will only be considered by the conference chair if more seats become available due to cancellations.
The topics, speakers, and discussion leaders for the conference sessions are displayed below. The conference chair is currently developing their detailed program, which will include the complete meeting schedule, as well as the talk titles for all speakers. The detailed program will be available by March 22, 2025. Please check back for updates.
