Breaking Down Phagocyte Biology Through Molecular Mechanisms and Host-Microbe Interactions

The Gordon Research Seminar on Phagocytes is an unparalleled opportunity for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists at similar levels of education and scientific career experience to discuss, present, and exchange data and ideas on the fundamental biology of phagocytic cells. The seminar is a wonderful opportunity to meet your fellow researchers, create collaborations, and get critical constructive feedback on your research.

GRS Phagocytes focus is for participants to present their latest discoveries from basic to translational biology. Researchers who are developing new techniques for the study of phagocyte biology are encouraged to attend. Topics will range broadly from molecular mechanisms of phagocytosis, cell biology of phagocytes, host-microbe interactions, to model organisms and systems, and translational research. The primary goal of the meeting is to give young researchers the opportunity to present their research in a fun collaborative environment. There will be multiple scientific sessions featuring trainee speakers from selected abstracts. The meeting will also have a lively interactive poster session, with opportunities for networking with your fellow scientists in a more informal setting.
