Conference Description
The Physiology, Biology and Pathology of Phosphate GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
The scientific theme of the first GRS on Physiology, Biology and Pathology of Phosphate focuses on the advances in the regulation of phosphate and its crucial role in nutrition and systemic metabolism in different organisms. Junior researchers at the GRS will present their data and innovative concepts among international peers of the phosphate field, either in a talk or an informal poster session. A key highlight of the GRS program will be the plenary panel discussion where established and early career investigators will provide tailored mentoring and share valuable insights into professional development strategies to help empower students in building a solid foundation in science as a career.
Participants are also strongly encouraged to present their work at the subsequent Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Physiology, Biology and Pathology of Phosphate.
Abstract submission deadline is extended to December 8th 2024!
