Because of the increased sophistication of the theory of protein structure and dynamics, researchers are beginning to see the physical basis for some of the key elementary steps leading to the formation of pathological misfolding products such as amyloid fibrils. This session is designed to present the state-of-the-art descriptions of amyloid formation. |
