Conference Description

The Proteins GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.

This highly dynamic field combines theoretical, computational, biochemical, physical, and cellular approaches to understand the molecular mechanisms that shape life. The 2023 GRS meeting will focus on recent advances in these areas, which have allowed a better understanding of how proteins shape and power biology. Topics will include protein folding, binding interactions, allostery, evolution, design, cellular signaling, macromolecular organization, and more.
