Conference Description
The RNA Editing GRS provides a unique forum for young doctoral and post-doctoral researchers to present their work, discuss new methods, cutting edge ideas, and pre-published data, as well as to build collaborative relationships with their peers. Experienced mentors and trainee moderators will facilitate active participation in scientific discussion to allow all attendees to be engaged participants rather than spectators.
The focus of the 2023 GRS is epitranscriptomics, RNA and DNA editing and modifications. These modifications are highly abundant and naturally occurring in nearly all organisms. The GRS on RNA editing brings together graduate student and post-docs to discuss fundamental mechanisms of these modifications and their aberrations in health and disease. The GRS will have two poster sessions and oral talks will be selected from submitted abstracts. The synergistic arrangement of the GRS and GRC will provide multiple opportunities for trainees to build professional networks and foster scientific collaborations.
