Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Sensory Transduction in Microorganisms is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.

The 2018 STIM GRS will explore the many facets of microbial signal transduction as assessed by cutting-edge techniques in biochemistry, imaging, molecular genetics, transcriptional regulation, two-component regulatory systems, cell-cell communications and microbial locomotion. Particular focus will be given to how microbes sense the environment, translate those signals and implement the appropriate response. The meeting will conclude with a grant writing workshop featuring break out sessions for investigators based in the US and Europe.

This GRS will be held in conjunction with the "Sensory Transduction in Microorganisms" Gordon Research Conference (GRC).
