Cell Adhesion Receptors at the Cross-Roads of Cell Signaling Pathways

The Gordon Research Seminar “Cell Adhesion Receptors at the Cross-Roads of Cell Signaling Pathways: New Directions and Approaches” held in conjunction with the GRC meeting “Signaling by Cell Adhesion Receptors” will provide a unique forum for graduate student conference participants for the presentation and exchange of new ideas at the interface between cell signaling and cell adhesion receptors. The focus of the meeting will draw from many areas of Cell and Developmental Biology, Bio-Engineering, Bio-Medical Research, and Systems Biology. The Gordon Research Seminar will provide an outstanding opportunity for graduate students to present their work, receive constructive feedback, network with other graduate students in the field and facilitate future collaborations. Finally, the Gordon Research Seminar will serve to prepare students for the general meeting and create an atmosphere more conducive to higher levels of student participation and leadership throughout the subsequent GRC meeting
