Conference Description

The Gordon Research Seminar on Thalamocortical Interactions represents a unique opportunity for graduate and postdoctoral trainees to present their work, build their network, and discuss cutting-edge research with emerging leaders in the field.

Research at the 2022 GRS will showcase the complexity and diversity of thalamic function across sensorimotor processing, behavior, and disease. The seminar will provide an inclusive, engaging atmosphere to foster connections and collaborations among trainees within the field of thalamocortical interactions.

The GRS will host a mentorship session entitled “Finding Your Niche and Building Your Career,” featuring a panel of established and emerging leaders in innovative neuroscience research who will share their journey in finding their own niche and advancing the field.

This GRS will be held in conjunction with the "Thalamocortical Interactions" Gordon Research Conference (GRC).
