Keynote Session: Modeling Cell-Cell Interactions Governing Tissue Repair and Disease
The keynote speakers Frederic de Sauvage (Genentech, USA) and Elaine Fuchs (Rockefeller University, USA) are world experts in intestine and skin epithelial biology, respectively. Their expertise includes every major developmental signaling pathway, including Wnt, BMP, and Notch. This session highlights the vision of this GRC, because the same signaling pathways regulate stem cells in different epithelial tissues and have important consequences in disease in epithelial tissues.
