Conference Description

The 2019 Gordon Research Seminar on Tropical Infectious Diseases is a unique forum for junior scientists to receive mentoring, expand their professional network and exchange cutting-edge ideas on basic and translational bacterial, viral and parasitic disease research. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their research projects in oral or poster presentations and to interact closely with senior scientist mentors throughout the meeting. The GRS will conclude with an interactive career panel featuring non-traditional career options that can arise from tropical disease research. Following the GRS, participants are encouraged to apply and attend the Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Tropical Infectious Diseases, which will highlight major advances on the same topics.

This GRS will be held in conjunction with the "Tropical Infectious Diseases" Gordon Research Conference (GRC).
